American Expat in Brazil,Robert Hueck bought a beautiful beach front property in Natal.Here is what he had to say about his experience with Brazil Beach House;

Mike is a total pro and the best way for people outside Brazil, especially in the US or other English speaking countries, to investigate and purchase a beach house in Brazil. His website is definitely the best resource for locating beach homes in Brazil: excellent and the information is totally accurate!

Mike Smith is a man of high integrity. And, he is familiar with the local culture from years of living in NE Brazil. I started corresponding with Mike 2 years before we decided to fly to Brazil to look at houses. He was great in answering questions and providing information.

In 2019 we came to Brazil to look at beach houses. Mike was among the best real estate agents I've ever worked with, taking the time to drive us around and getting answers to all questions quickly. We decided buy a house north of Natal in a charming fishing village and loved it so much we have sold our home in the US and moved to Brazil!

Mike made the purchase process easy! And, over the last 2 years he has become a good friend and graciously helped us with tips about where to find certain businesses and other local resources to assist with the transition. We can't recommend Mike highly enough! And, we think NE Brazil is the place to retire.

The weather here is simply perfect. The ocean temperature, being close to the equator, is nearly the same year around: warm and pleasant, from the high 70s to low 80s F. However, the air temperature never gets hot. The unique phenomenon is the almost constant 5-10 mph trade wind from the ocean. The air blowing across the surface of the ocean results in the air temperature being nearly the same as that of the ocean: from the mid 70s at night to mid 80s at mid day. The balmy ocean breeze is always refreshing and simply delightful!

The other wonderful thing is the people. Hard working, friendly and warm. As far as the much hyped crime in Brazil, we have not seen or heard about any in 2 years. We feel far safer here than in the US. The police do an excellent job here.

Brazil is not "third-world," as many believe, but has everything you would find in the US: excellent hospitals and supermarkets (including Sams Club) with all familiar foods, good roads, and yet retains many charming ways of life lost in the US. People typically greet strangers in passing with "good day" and a smile. The weather is far better than Florida. The balmy breeze is like Miami Beach, but it never gets extremely hot like southern Florida. There is not the high crime of Caribbean and Central American countries. And, there are no hurricanes.

All in all, we highly recommend checking it out and Mike is the guy to help you.
